SELENE POP-UP
Project Background
A visual identity for Selene, a pop-up hosted by Phoebe Moon at Newbarns Brewery. The food focused on Mediterranean flavours and casual sharing. I worked with Phoebe, Adam Hepburn and Maddy Crowther to create the identity, direction and printed pieces.
Creative Direction
We wanted the visuals to feel gentle and honest. The handwriting was loose and unpolished, repeated like a memory or note. Phoebe’s black and white photography showed hands at work, food mid-process. Paired with quiet serif typography, the system was stripped back but deliberate. Inspired by old menus, soft hospitality and hand-done details.
Outcome
The result was a simple set of printed assets that felt personal and lived-in. The menu, poster and social layouts all worked together without trying too hard. It gave the pop-up a clear tone that matched the care put into the food.
